Browne, the father of Sarah Browne (d. 1844) and, possibly, Mary Browne (who lived at Charleston, South Carolina, during 1810). Sarah Browne married lawyer John M. Sherrerd (1794-1871) in 1818. This couple lived at Pleasant Valley, New Jersey, until removing in 1826 to Belvidere, the seat of newly erected Warren County. Their daughter, Sarah D.
